This allows us to properly address ALL fitment and performance issues. It also allows us to document an installation, demonstrate the installation to our sales techs and dealers, and allows ongoing evaluation of the performance of the StrongArms<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2122.png" alt="™" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>
<p><strong>Design</strong>   –    We think the best way to design any component is to keep it simple. That is why Strong Arms<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2122.png" alt="™" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> are designed with as few components as possible.  They are manufactured in-house on our 4 axis tubing bender that allows precise, repeatable bends that no other machine can achieve. We can create elegant tubing bends that would otherwise require several separate welded components.  The perimeter of the StrongArm is contoured to allow maximum wheel clearance and turning radius.</p>
<p><strong>Components</strong>   –    Powder coated in a satin black finish and completely assembled with ball joints, bushings and cross shafts.  To reduce deflection and stiction from the suspension movement Injection Molded Delrin Bushings are used, which are also impregnated with Teflon to eliminate the need for lubrication.</p>
<p><strong>Geometry</strong>   –    Properly designed control arms will add more positive caster and will position the wheel in the wheel opening for maximum clearance.   Ball joint angles are repositioned to prevent binding.</p>

With this all-new, engineered-from-scratch system, you can stop using junkyard parts to modernize your pickup and can bolt in the handling and performance you&#8217;ve always wanted. Designed specifically for 65-79 F-100s, the front system is 3.75&#8243; narrower than a Crown Vic, providing ideal handling and allowing fitment of larger wheels and tires. The system also saves 150 lbs of weight and provides 3&#8243; to 5&#8243; of drop with standard spindles and 5&#8243; to 7&#8243; with drop spindles. Everything you need is included, all the way down to the hardware. In addition to double- or single-adjustable shocks and high travel springs, you get upper and lower control arms, upper and lower crossmembers, rack and pinion steering, and stock or drop spindles. All components included in these systems are proudly made in QA1&#8217;s Lakeville, Minnesota facility. All QA1 shocks are 100% dyno tested and serialized.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>QA1&#8217;s Level 3 front coil-over conversion for the C1500 integrates control arms with a new upper control arm mount and coil-over shocks to provide up to 6&#8243; drop (with the use of popular drop spindles; 2&#8243; to 4&#8243; without) and allow room for wider wheels and tires. These systems include double adjustable full coil-over shocks so you can have ride height adjustability and change the valving to meet your specific needs. This version provides enhanced geometry by the new bolt-in upper control arm mount, which reduces anti-dive and ties in the upper shock mount. All QA1 shocks are 100% dyno tested and serialized. Coil-over hardware and all required nuts, bolts, etc. are included. Made in the USA.</p>

The upper and lower control arms together provide up to 7 degrees of increased caster for more stability and driveability. <li>Raised upper control arm tabs.</li>
<li>Upper bag cups and upper and lower ball joints included.</li>
<li>Monroe Shocks and shock mounts included. Upgrade to the RideTech shocks (+$250/shock).</li>
<li>Bushings, sleeves, and upper arm bolts/washers/nuts also included.</li>
<li>Will lay up to a 31" tall tire.</li>
<li>Includes Tie Rod kit to replace Inner and Outer factory Tie Rods. Comes with 3/4" chromly heims.</li>
<li>Upper Control Arm Tabs placement jig is included. (Please send the jig back. Return label is included.)</li>

<p>**You will need to pocket the frame for the shock mounts. The frame will also need notched for clearance of the Tie Rod steering kit.**</p>
